Scarborough park

Yesterday I went on a class trip to scarborough park .When we got they we were very tird so we stopped to have moning tea and have a play.Arther we we walked up to. St Nicklaus park to part a tree finly we got they sweating we planted the tree and went back .

Rosy and the witch

Once upon a time there was a little girl.She had blond curly hair and very trustworthy.She was called rosy 8 years old and called Rosy .One day Rosy's father a woodcutter asked Rosy if she could go though the dark woods to miss Lucy ''but please keep on the path ''he advised .
so Rosy set off to miss Lucy's house.Miss Lucy lived in the other side of the woods Rosy was making sure to keep on the path.But when she was around halfway there she noticed that she was in a clearing that she had never been in .then suddenly as if out of no were a hideous old lady appeared .The old lady asked 'are you lost ' 'Rosy nodded could pleas show me the way to Pickle berry path ''side Rosy.So the lady took Rosy by the hand and lead Rosy not to Pickle berry  path but to her house .The old lady chuckled to her self and said ''you must be very hungry and thirsty and tired would you like to stay the night hear ''thank you very much '' said Rosy .The old lady which if you haven't all ready guessed was a witch ,gave Rosy some soup .But the soup had a poison in it that turned people into beasts.so as soon as she had sipped the soup she turned into a big ugly beast .The witch shooed Rosy out of her house and locked the door.Mean while Rosy father was growing anxious about Rosy .He set out thinking  that she had lost her way and the witch had turned  her into a beast .So the wood cutter was out all night and finally found the witch's house .The witch was asleep the woodcutter got the poison that turned  beasts into children then he went out of the witch's house and started to call "Rosy".Rosy the beast came from behind a tree and the woodcutter gave Rosy the potion and she teard back into herself and they lived happily ever after the end .

How cows digest food into milk

Have you ever wondred how cows make milk?



Cows eat
70kg of grass each day .Firstly the grass travels from the bigest part in ther stomach (which is called rumed) to be mixed up with liquid .

The it mores to another part in the stomach ,where it is squashed in to tiny balls called cud.Once the grass has traved though the first 2 stomachs it is buped up.The is chewed for 1 minute .

 Next it travels though the last 2 stomachs where the nutrients areabsorbed into the cows bloodstream.

 Finally it goes into the cows udders were the milk is made .

 Now it is sent to the dairy where it is botted and sold.

Jagos mice

Yesterday Jago brought in two mice one is black and one is white. They look really cute. They live in real house but it is mini and inside a cage.                

Poetry Competition

For the last few weeks we have been looking at poetry. We have had to learn a poem to recite to the class. I was chosen to share my poem to the year 3 and 4 team next week.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This term we have been looking at persuasive writing. 

We looked at the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We talked about whether she should have gone into the house or not. Here is my poster. 

Our beans

In Room 9 we have been plarting beans .
                     The year 3 Boys is the tallist with the year 4 Girls forlling glose behind .
                                The year 4 Boys are next with the year 3 Girls just begining to grow.

                                         I hope the year 3 girls grow soon!       

My flower art

On Friday Room 9 did flower art .We did bending with difrint colis .Me and Kyra did tulips everybody else did lilies.

They are now stuck on the wall.A ll of our flower art look beautiful up one the wall. This is how we made Them: First we whisper drew our flower art. Then we coloured them in .Finally we whisper drew on the back ground.

The grass seed heads

In room 9 we have createdd a grass seed head . Everybody in our class has made one.
  We collected 18 yoghurt containers for them . Then we filled them up with dirt and wrote our names on orange sticky paper .Then we stuck them on to our yoghurt containers . After we had finished that we sprinkled some grass seeds on them.

Cross Country

Yesterday I did cross country. I was nervous.

When the year 3 girls race started I was very nervous.

When the race ended I was very proud of myself because I came 4th.

My Mum came over and said that she was very proud too.

Then we went back to school.
