How cows digest food into milk

Have you ever wondred how cows make milk?



Cows eat
70kg of grass each day .Firstly the grass travels from the bigest part in ther stomach (which is called rumed) to be mixed up with liquid .

The it mores to another part in the stomach ,where it is squashed in to tiny balls called cud.Once the grass has traved though the first 2 stomachs it is buped up.The is chewed for 1 minute .

 Next it travels though the last 2 stomachs where the nutrients areabsorbed into the cows bloodstream.

 Finally it goes into the cows udders were the milk is made .

 Now it is sent to the dairy where it is botted and sold.

Jagos mice

Yesterday Jago brought in two mice one is black and one is white. They look really cute. They live in real house but it is mini and inside a cage.                

Poetry Competition

For the last few weeks we have been looking at poetry. We have had to learn a poem to recite to the class. I was chosen to share my poem to the year 3 and 4 team next week.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This term we have been looking at persuasive writing. 

We looked at the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We talked about whether she should have gone into the house or not. Here is my poster. 

Our beans

In Room 9 we have been plarting beans .
                     The year 3 Boys is the tallist with the year 4 Girls forlling glose behind .
                                The year 4 Boys are next with the year 3 Girls just begining to grow.

                                         I hope the year 3 girls grow soon!       

My flower art

On Friday Room 9 did flower art .We did bending with difrint colis .Me and Kyra did tulips everybody else did lilies.

They are now stuck on the wall.A ll of our flower art look beautiful up one the wall. This is how we made Them: First we whisper drew our flower art. Then we coloured them in .Finally we whisper drew on the back ground.
